My 1997 Nissan 240SX SE

"The Beater"

Pictured above is my 1997 Nissan 240SX SE. I picked this car up the Tuesday before Thanksgiving in 2004. I was absolutely tired of driving my 92 Honda Civic DX Hatchback. I was on my way to the Amateur Radio Club one night and saw this car sitting in a car lot on the corner of the main highway. I went and looked at it, found it to be in near flawless condition, and picked it up for $4600 (before tax, title, license, and financing.) The bank owns the better part of my left testicle, but the car is real nice. It's rare Silver Moss color, which I've grown to really like. It's also an automatic transmission, but before you "boo" me, hear me out. It's my daily driver and the Supra through downtown New Orleans traffic and it's Stage 3 racing clutch (3800lb or so pressure plate) was really getting to me in my daily commute. This car is a lot of fun and very easy to drive. It has a couple small dings on it and some paint from something else rubbed on the rear bumper, but I am getting that taken care of ASAP. Anyway, this car will be the test bed for a few projects of mine in the future like LED conversions and a carputer. Check back often!
