Pictured above is my 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo, affectionaly referred to as, "The Red Beast" or simply "TRB." Mostly likely because she's ugly, but as you can see by the list of mods below...fast. I acquired the car on September 23, 1999. At the time I wanted a turbo Supra more than anything, so I sought out to find one. I wanted any color except red, but it turns out that's what I got my hands on. My previous car had an equipment failure, and I totaled it into the back of a city bus at 3mph. TRB came available from a local car lot shortly after the demise of my previous car. It's been a long bumpy road in the world of Supra ownership, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. The car is fast, fun, featureful, and most importantly...it looks awesome with the roof out. I didn't even know the car was a targa roof until I drove it home, but now I am glad that it is. It's almost painful to drive around in a targa-less car on a beautiful day. The MKIII Supra has more standard features than most of today's cars have options. My particular model stickered for $27,540 in 1989! It's equipped with a 5-speed transmission, limited slip differential, an electronic suspension system, facotry alarm system, heated side mirrors, power locks, power seat, power windows, anti-lock brakes, and plenty more. Out of that list, the only thing that was an option was the electronic suspension, which is found on most turbo models anyway. As you can see by the list of stuff below, I've put a lot into the car. It might be a 15 year old piece of junk (LOL), but it's mine and it's paid for. It's been a love/hate relationship since day one...I hate loving it! Haha..not really, for the most part, it's been an excellent car to own with fewer problems then any other car I've owned.
